Nccer Certification Card

Training for training the nccer registry system provides transcripts certificates and wallet cards to students who successfully complete the nccer curriculum through an nccer accredited training sponsor.

Nccer certification card. The card is not a representation of certification but rather an illustration that the card holder has been entered into nccers registry system. Submitting new titles in the registry new titles from 2018 will need to be identified by a two letter language suffix in the registry. The nccer card number provides a unique id that is connected to any training or assessments an individual has completed in the registry. An nccer wallet card gives the employer the opportunity to verify a current or potential employees credentials.

The card itself is not proof of training credentials or certifications. These assessments evaluate the knowledge of an individual in a specific craft area and provide a prescription for upgrade training when needed. To become certified plus an individual must complete both the written assessment knowledge verified and performance performance verified components of nccers national craft assessment and certification program ncacp.

A transcript certificate and an initial wallet card are granted when a trainee completes core curriculum or any other full level of a craft. The nccer silver wallet card is given to anyone who has earned a certified plus credential. The nccer registry will be down for routine maintenance on sunday evenings between 9pm and 11pm eastern time. Nccer offers a complete series of entry and journey level written assessments as part of its national craft assessment and certification program ncacp.
